EXCLUSIVE BUSINESS EVENT IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY IN ASTANA
ON MAY 29-31, THE CAPITAL OF KAZAKHSTAN AT THE INTERFOOD ASTANA INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION SITE WILL HOST OVER 80 MANUFACTURERS OF FOOD PRODUCTS AND BEVERAGES, INGREDIENTS, PACKAGING AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE FOOD INDUSTRY FROM 15 COUNTRIES. FOR THE FIRST TIME, EXCLUSIVELY, THIS YEAR THE EUROPEAN UNION IS THE HONORARY REGION OF THE EXHIBITION WITH A PRESENTATION EXPOSITION OF EUROPEAN FOOD STUFF AND BEVERAGES FROM MORE THAN 30 EU MANUFACTURERS.
Having been an important event for the food industry for 24 years, InterFood Astana 2024 annually provides a platform for business scaling opportunities for food production specialists. At the exhibition, industry representatives not only get acquainted with new suppliers and product samples, but also discover prospects for international cooperation and entry into export markets, learn and assess the “chips” of new players seeking to occupy their niche in Kazakhstan, and also get into the flow of the latter trends in the development of the global food market and study the dynamics of consumer preferences in the region.

The main partner of the event is the European Union, which acts as Region of Honor at the 24th Kazakhstan International InterFood Astana 2024 Exhibition.
Exposition 2024
More than 80 participants from the European Union, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Singapore, Turkmenistan, and the Czech Republic will present a wide range of food products and beverages, food processing equipment, packaging, and ingredients at the exhibition.
The European Union Pavilion representing 27 EU Member States, as well as the national export exhibitors of China and Hungary, will present a large variety of local products and beverages from those regions and states.
The collective stand of the Udmurt Republic (Russia) will present export manufacturers from the region. Among the Kazakhstan manufacturers, the flagship of domestic production will be presented by Sultan Marketing, Prima Kus, Tsin-Kaz and others. Equipment for food production, as well as baking, confectionery, laboratory, packaging equipment, bottling and fruit/vegetable processing lines will be presented by Kronen (Germany), Ruwac (Kazakhstan/Germany), Rodals (Moldova), Favorit Techno (Kazakhstan), Omnipol (Czech Republic), as well as companies from China. Packaging products will be available at the stands of Glass Decor (Russia), Gofrotara Plant (Kazakhstan), Inter Multi Service (Kazakhstan), Paradigma (Russia) and others.
New participants of the exhibition
From year to year, the InterFood Astana exhibition is growing and attracting new participants to in its midst, making its scale even more impressive. This year the exhibition is pleased to welcome a wide range of new faces to the venues. For the first time, more than 20 manufacturers from China will be presented, who will not only present food products, ingredients, packaging and equipment, but also share their unique cultural traditions from Guizhou Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. HEPA, the Hungarian Export Promotion Association, makes its debut at the expo event, presenting Hungary’s export potential and bringing new prospects and opportunities for establishing business partnerships with Kazakhstani entrepreneurs.
A unique feature this year will be the European Union pavilion, where visitors will also be able to enjoy food products and beverages from the representing 27 EU Members States. A European business delegation of 40 honored guests, entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector and representatives of EU industry associations is preparing an extensive program to welcome visitors at the InterFood Astana exhibition. Guests will enjoy tastings, master classes and B2B import negotiations, which will make visiting the exhibition even more exciting and will allow all guests to expand their business horizons.
Business program of the exhibition
As part of the rich business program of the exhibition, the following will be held:
- Plenary session: Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union in the field of agriculture and food industry with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Janusz Wojciechowski, the EU Commissioner for Agriculture.
- Panel session: Export and import in the food industry market - cooperation of Kazakhstan companies with international markets.
Also, the business program includes speeches by industry experts, specialized master classes, performances from participating companies - tastings, culinary master classes, demonstrations of equipment operation, presentations of advanced technologies. Retail-Distributor Center exclusive platform will traditionally provide a unique opportunity for business negotiations between manufacturers and republican and regional retail chains and distributors.
The exhibition is an ideal place to discuss current issues, exchange experiences and ideas, as well as establish valuable business contacts with leading companies and industry experts. The InterFood Astana platform is an effective dialogue field for technology and equipment suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers of food products and beverages.
