International exhibition in Shymkent MACHTEX 2015: from raw materials to catwalk
The first Kazakhstan International Exhibition and Forum “Textile Industry Products and Machinery” – MACHTEX 2015 will take place in Shymkent from October 8 - 9.
The organizer is the Akimat of the South Kazakhstan region with the support of the Ministry on Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “ATAMEKEN”, Ontustik special economic zone, the Agency for development of the local content NADLOc and the Association of Legal Entities “Association of light industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
MACHTEX 2015 Exhibition will represent enterprises from Kazakhstan, Korea, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Domestic and foreign manufacturers will introduce their equipment, goods and services for the needs of domestic light industry.
The 8th of October will see the Forum “Recovery ways and new growth points of Kazakhstan light industry”. This Forum will discuss the issues of the comprehensive development plan for the Kazakhstan light industry during the next five years, investment opportunities for the light industry enterprises, export of finished products to foreign countries. Special attention will be paid to the future development of the cotton textile cluster in South Kazakhstan, establishment of equal economical conditions in the domestic market, opportunities for technological renovation of the sector and creation of new manufactures. The Forum will also discuss the questions of light industry investment potential and positive experience of state support in foreign countries.
The Forum will be started with the plenary meeting on the subject “State mechanisms for support of the light industry development”. The panel session will be dedicated to discussions on development of cooperation and attraction of investments to Ontustik special economic zone and the South Kazakhstan region, establishment of Kazakhstani brand names of clothing and system of state order of clothing from Kazakhstani suppliers, as well as to supplying production departments with up-to-date equipment and advanced technologies, cooperation in the light industry within the frame of the Customs Union and CFMZ, and also to other questions urgent for today’s industry.
Besides of the Forum, the NADLOc will arrange on October 9th the introductory workshop on replacement of the part of expenses for business entities, and presentation of the «Қазақстанда жасалған – Made in Kazakhstan» Unified logo. The program also includes the workshops and presentations of participating companies.
The dramatic and anticipated event – fashion show of Kazakhstani designers – will take place within the frame of the Exhibition and Forum.
