EXHIBITORS PRESENTED NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENSURING SECURITY AT THE SECUREX KAZAKHSTAN 2024 EXHIBITION
MARCH 13, 2024, ALMATY. IN THE SOUTHERN CAPITAL OF KAZAKHSTAN, ON THE TERRITORY OF THE ATAKENT EXHIBITION COMPLEX, A KEY REPUBLICAN EVENT IN THE FIELD OF SECURITY - THE PROTECTION, SECURITY, RESCUE AND FIRE SAFETY EXHIBITION - SECUREX KAZAKHSTAN 2024 OPENED. THIS IS A UNIQUE PLATFORM, WHICH BROUGHT TOGETHER IN ONE EXPLOSION LEADING INDUSTRY SPECIALISTS, DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES, MANUFACTURERS OF EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENSURING SECURITY IN VARIOUS FIELDS - FROM INFORMATION SECURITY TO PHYSICAL SECURITY OF OBJECTS.
The 2024 exhibitors included 65 participants from 8 countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, USA, Ukraine, South Korea). Manufacturers from the Omsk and Ural regions of the Russian Federation presented collective stands. At their stands, participants presented the latest product lines in the field of physical security, intelligent systems for home protection, security detectors, equipment for explosive objects, warning and evacuation management systems (including digital), video surveillance and alarm systems, satellite monitoring and telecommunications systems, biometric information security and daily performance record systems, bollards, anti-ramming devices, automation, barriers, access management controllers, software for site access control management, fire-fighting equipment, security and fire equipment, digital technologies for information protection and ID-Tech solutions.
It is worth noting that the increase in the number of participants compared to last year reached 70%. And more than 53% of exhibitors are debutants, among them such companies as Trombone, Etalon Group, Segment Energo Kazakhstan, Karelpozhliniya, Kordon, Drakar, Keeper.kz, Intellicom, Iris Id Systems, Altprom Invest, Parsec, Bekem Trade, Altprom Invest, Cleverpark Global, Kazsiem, Fudo Security and others. At the street exposition, EvrazEx, the domestic manufacturer, presented its equipment with the Barracuda trademark.
The development and growth of the application of information technologies and cyber-security contributed to the growth of a separate specialized ITS Information Technologies and Security section, whose participants presented at their stands the latest developments in the field of strengthening security measures and data preservation using advanced digital technologies.
The Securex Kazakhstan 2024 exhibition serves not only to showcase industry innovations from around the world, but also serves as an effective dialogue and training platform, which is a distinctive feature of this year’s exhibition. The content part of the program began with the Plenary session dedicated to issues of interaction between the state and business in order to ensure the safety of the country’s residents. State representatives outlined key tasks and priority projects of departments, and industry leaders proposed effective solutions to these requests. The speakers were R. Kamalov, the Chairman of the Fire Fighting Service Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N. Atygayev, the Head of the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty city, R. Iskakov, the Chairman of the Civil Protection Union of Kazakhstan, A. Taksimov, the Head of City Center of Monitoring and Rapid Response State Utility Enterprise with the Right of Economic Management of the Akimat of Astana city, V. Gusev, the Commercial Director of Egida Group LLP, N. Gurov, the Development of the Hikvision brand in Kazakhstan.
“Ensuring the safety of citizens has always been and will be one of the most important priorities of our country and the state civil protection system in particular. The implementation of this task is impossible without the use of modern safety technologies and rescue remedies, which play an important role in forming favorable and comfortable living conditions for people. The event is extremely useful for specialists involved in ensuring the safety of citizens, and also promotes the effective exchange of experience and innovative solutions in the prevention and response to emergency situations. By visiting expositions and seminars, there is an opportunity to assess and become more familiar with new developments and technologies in the emergency rescue and fire-fighting industry”, R. Kamalov noted.
He also spoke about the latest technologies in the field of fire extinguishing used in Kazakhstan, and about government support measures in the development of fire safety standards for residential and industrial facilities. N. Atygayev in his speech emphasized that the work of the Department of Emergency Situations in Almaty city is aimed at implementing a unified state policy in the field of civil protection, reducing risks and mitigating the consequences of natural and technogenic emergencies in order to ensure the safety of the city population.
During the Securex Talks session, speakers presented successful cases on the implementation of technologies to solve business tasks in the field of cyber-security and information security. Yu. Yakupbayeva, shared her opinion on the role of expo events: Expert platforms, such as the Securex Kazakhstan 2024 exhibition, are important for the development of the industry, there are experts here that you don’t see in other places. In our activities, timely exchange of experience and expert participation of professionals are important.
Issues of digital transformation and the use of IT solutions for process automation were considered during the “Digitalization of Security Systems. Industrial Cases” session. During the day, practice experts from C-Nord, Rubezh and Hikvision carried out a number of training seminars for all visitors to the exhibition.
