BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGIES AND STRATEGIC DISCUSSIONS: RESULTS OF THE SECUREX KAZAKHSTAN 2024 EXHIBITION
FROM MARCH 13 TO 15, 2024, THE 12TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL SECUREX KAZAKHSTAN 2024 EXHIBITION WAS HELD AT THE ATAKENT EXHIBITION CENTER IN ALMATY. THE 2024 EXHIBITION SHOWED ACTIVE GROWTH, DEMONSTRATING IMPRESSIVE RESULTS: 1,369 UNIQUE VISITORS, 65 PARTICIPATING COMPANIES FROM 8 COUNTRIES, 21 PROFESSIONAL SESSIONS AS PART OF THE BUSINESS PROGRAM.
At their stands, exhibitors presented the latest developments in the field of security alarm and warning systems, access control and management systems, fire safety, and video surveillance systems. In accordance with the trends and challenges of the modern world, a specialized ITS Information Technologies and Security section was organized. Participants included TargetAI limited, Innodisk (NOVA), Fudo Security, Iris ID Systems Inc, KAZSIEM, BATNA SP. Z O.O., Bekem Trade Kazakhstan, Soft Division, Smartcall, Parsec, presented at their stands the latest developments in the field of enhancing security measures and data preservation using advanced digital technologies. The extended business program of the Exhibition was also devoted to the issues of maintaining cyber and information security.
During the Plenary session, speakers from government organizations and major business players discussed in a dialogue format the synergy of their interaction to ensure the safety of the country’s residents. R. Kamalov, the Chairman of the Fire Service Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N. Atygayev, the Head of the Emergency Situations Department of Almaty, R. Iskakov, the Chairman of the Civil Protection Union of Kazakhstan, A. Taksimov, the Head of City Center of Monitoring and Rapid Response State Utility Enterprise with the Right of Economic Management of the Akimat of Astana city, V. Gusev, the Commercial Director of EgidaGroup LLP, N. Gurov, the Development of the Hikvision brand in Kazakhstan.
The result of the meeting was the developed vectors of movement for interaction between the state and business towards our main goal - ensuring the safety of residents. State representatives identified key tasks and priority projects, and industry leaders proposed effective solutions to these requests.
The SECUREX TALKS session aroused great interest among the professional audience of listeners. Experts spoke about information technologies, the current situation with data preservation and cybersecurity. Yu. Yakupbayeva, the speaker of the session, Partner of the GPI Group, Chairman of the Council for Sustainable Development and ESG of Atameken Noncommercial Organization, Member of the Board of TECHNOWOMEN Noncommercial Organization, noted the importance of such platforms. “Such platforms are needed for the development of the industry. And since Securex Kazakhstan is a well-known exhibition, industry specialists came here that you would not see in other places. Thanks to the expert participation of prominent people, visitors were able to obtain useful information about this industry”, summed up Yu. Yakupbayeva.
Hot technological issues became the main topic of the case session entitled Digitalization of security systems: examples from industry. Session moderator: Ye. Pitolin, the Independent Expert on Cybersecurity, IT and Communications, shared his impressions of participating in the case session: “The exposition at the Exhibition, reports at the sessions showed a lot of cool things both on cybersecurity and on the development of physical and corporate security in the industry. The agenda includes topics that are unusual for Kazakhstan, such as sustainability, sustainable development, a green agenda and some kind of stability. All this is presented on the Securex Kazakhstan platform”.
According to tradition, a delegation of more than 45 people from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and Taldykorgan arrived at the Exhibition in order to build further partnerships. Specialists from such enterprises as Real Bezopasnost, Smart Complex, Pautina, BAKR Detective Security Agency, Vympel State Design Bureau, SmartHub, Saktan Detective Service got acquainted with the new products of exposition.
The exhibition participants also praised their presence, highlighting the benefits in creating business connections and the potential for expanding sales markets. Artem Kolupayev, the Director of DKC Kazakhstan, gave the following review on participation in the Exhibition: “The impressions are positive. In fact, the event is very lively, almost all the leading companies in the industry represented here. I think that as a result of this event we will have a fairly large positive response from our clients and partners whom we meet at our stand. Next year we plan to participate as well”.
In the seminar area for two days, the representatives of C-Nord, Rubezh, Logitex-Market, Egida Group, Energon, DKC JSC, Hikvision shared useful industry information during the seminars.
